At university, I had studied for a degree in Architectural Technology, as I had always loved buildings and drawing, so it seemed the perfect combination at the time. The techniques I gained helped me hone my engineering drawing, rendering and visualisation skills, something that would later on become so important to my abstract drawings. I loved working with that type of precision, and exacting detail, applying that to my visions of buildings and landscapes. It also became a vital part of my Sacred Geometry lotus flowers, as their patterns also required precise drawing, even if the flowers themselves seemed to develop almost randomly for me!
